Warehouse Inventory Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and supporting warehouse operations. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to utilize various tools and software for effective inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring stock availability aligns with demand.
• Utilize data analysis skills to assess inventory trends and make informed decisions regarding procurement.
• Operate forklifts safely to move products within the warehouse as needed.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline inventory processes.
• Analyze stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions to resolve issues.
• Negotiate with suppliers for optimal purchasing agreements and contract terms.
• Maintain organized records of inventory transactions using warehouse management systems.
• Prepare reports using tools such as Tableau to present inventory data to management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and data analysis tools.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred).
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
