Essential FunctionsAssigns case numbersAssigns Title XX numbersEnters all cases with Title XX identification numbers into the day sheets systemTypes up reference cardsFiles reference cardsPulls FNS recertification recordsPicks up and delivers records(active and inactive) from the departments and files appropriatelyResearches all face sheets to ensure that the person has not already been assigned a case numberRemoves courier mail from courier box each day.Picks up mail at drop-off areas periodically and prepare it for pickupStocks supply area when neededFixes minor problems with copier machineMaybe required to work at front desk/switchboardOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. Excellent customer service and communication skills Organizational skillsTime management skillsAbility to multitaskAbility to meet deadlines Ability to work with little to no supervision, as a member of a team,Physical RequirementsThis work requires the occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel and repetitive motions, frequently requires reaching with hands and arms and occasionally requires standing, walking, pushing or pulling and lifting; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken.

Note: In accordance with State mandates and the Rockingham County Emergency Operations Plan, Rockingham County Health and Human Services staff from the Divisions of Social Services, Public Health and Integrated Health are required to staff emergency shelters during times of disaster. Please be advised that every staff person is eligible to be assigned to an emergency shelter or Emergency Operations Center.
