What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher Assistant- Part Time Elementary for 2025-2026, EES position at Rockingham County School Division?

This is a part-time, 10 month position. 3.5 hours per day, 17.5 hours per week.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work cooperatively with others in a positive manner; ability to learn and use specialized instructional/management techniques as needed; ability to communicate and develop effective working relationships with students, parents, administrators, and staff.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited high school or General Education Development Certificate (GED). Two years of college, 12 undergraduate credits in math/English or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment preferred.
