What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Loan Analyst position at Rockland Federal Credit Union?
Under the direction of the AVP/ Residential Lending responsible for the coordination, preparation, and timely delivery of the initial Loan Estimate and disclosure packages for all home equity and mortgage loan transactions; working both independently and as a team with Loan Officers, Loan Analysts, branch management, attorneys, and management to ensure necessary file completion.
- Manages and monitors the loan application pipeline to ensure all home equity and mortgage loans are disclosed within 3 business days of the application date.
- Reviews Loan Officer data input in all applicable Encompass screens, conversation log, and file alerts to ensure accuracy before the initial Loan Estimate application package is provided to the borrower(s).
- Prepares the initial Loan Estimate application package for completion and compliance before being sent to the borrower(s), utilizing available resources and management for assistance as needed.
- Reviews investor ineligible list for closing attorney and condominium projects.
- Obtains mortgage insurance quotes and ensures premiums are accurately input into Encompass before Loan Estimate is provided to borrower(s).
- Attends and participates in regularly scheduled in-person staff meetings and attends daily huddle teams video call to discuss loan priorities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years' residential disclosing or other mortgage related experience in a collaborative workplace preferred
- Must be service-oriented with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Technically proficient in MS Office and able to quickly learn and support digital platforms
- Experience using Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS) preferred.
Schedule: Full Time 40 Hours/ Week
