WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
As the IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our IT operations, ensuring that our systems are efficient, secure, and aligned with our manufacturing goals. This hands-on position requires a blend of technical expertise and managerial skills, allowing you to directly impact our production processes and team performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Management: Lead daily IT operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system reliability. You will be actively involved in maintaining and upgrading our technology infrastructure to support manufacturing activities.
- Team Leadership: Actively supervise the IT team, assign tasks, and set daily priorities while providing guidance and support to ensure the team has the tools they need.
- Project Management: Manage full project lifecycles from inception to completion. This includes defining project scopes, creating timelines, allocating resources, and regularly monitoring progress to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs that enhance operational efficiency. Develop a technology roadmap that aligns with both short-term and long-term manufacturing goals.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select technology vendors that meet our operational requirements. Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships to ensure optimal performance of external services.
- Security Management: Implement and oversee security measures, conduct hands-on risk assessments, and develop disaster recovery plans to safeguard our IT infrastructure.
- Budget Management: Manage the IT budget and allocate resources effectively, identifying cost-saving opportunities through hands-on evaluation of ongoing projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience in IT management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical skills in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, with a track record of successful project delivery.
