Essential Accountabilities :

• Build and lead a team of skilled professionals responsible for infrastructure operations, network administration, system engineering, cybersecurity, and incident response. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end users in resolving network-related issues, including connectivity problems, VoIP telephony issues, and access to network resources, ensuring minimal disruption to plant operations.
• Design, deploy, and maintain the plant\'s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability for voice and data communication.
• Manage and support voice communication systems, such as IP telephony (VoIP) and unified communications (UC), to facilitate internal and external communication needs of the plant staff and stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain data storage and backup solutions to ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of plant data, including production data, inventory records, and operational documents.
• Implement and maintain robust network security measures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, leveraging expertise in network protocols, technologies, and best practices to ensure prompt resolution of issues affecting voice and data communication.
• Continuously monitor network performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime for both voice and data communication systems.
• Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure network equipment, software, and services, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) for voice and data communication systems.
