Rockstar is on the lookout for talented Senior Data Scientist, Subscriptions who possesses a passion for both games and creating powerful insights from data.
This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.
WHAT WE DO
- The Rockstar Analytics team provides insights and actionable results to a wide variety of stakeholders across the organization in support of their decision making.
- We perform complex analyses, build reporting solutions, and help develop data that drives forward actionable, efficient insight delivery to help inform decisions across multiple stakeholder groups and development projects.
- We drive high-impact improvements via hands-on exploration of data, dashboards, statistical analyses, and predictive models.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assure Rockstar continues to build value for players for our subscription service through compelling analytics and reports.Define, measure, and socialize KPIs for our subscription service. Build and maintain regular reports and provide ad-hoc analysis to support business needs. Build monitoring to alert stakeholders of any significant changes to subscription KPIs.Generate insights on lifecycle and retention by analyzing marketing campaigns and product feature releases. Present insights to key decision-makers and articulate recommended actions based on the findings.Collaborate with stakeholders through the lifecycle of data solutions to ensure we are addressing the right needs.Recommend and implement innovative data solutions and methodologies to measure membership health and create positive experiences for our players.QUALIFICATIONS
4 years working with SQL to perform exploratory analysis while writing readable and optimized queries.4 years in data science or similar role in the gaming, marketing, finance, or technology fields required.2 years in subscription analytics or live service analytics.Ability to draw inferences from disparate data sources, identifying key findings and linking to business strategies or objectives.Technical proficiency with large-scale datasets and cloud infrastructureBachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Statistics, or a related field preferred.Experience with Python and common data science libraries.Passion for Rockstar Games and our titles.SKILLS

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below
per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and / or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
