Join our team in Schenectady, NY, as a Working Shop Foreman in our busy fleet maintenance shop, specializing in medical and paramedical transport vehicles.About the RoleThis is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be : On the wrenches (75% of the time) : Performing repairs and maintenance on our fleet of passenger vehicles, including cars, vans, and small buses, many equipped with hydraulic wheelchair lifts.Supervising and scheduling (25% of the time) : Overseeing shop operations, scheduling work, and ensuring efficiency without micromanaging. Our team of experienced mechanics runs smoothly; your role will be to keep the shop on track.All hands on deck : From operating the forklift to organizing the shop or clearing snow, teamwork is key in our operation.What We’re Looking ForWe value leaders who lead by example.
