VP, Growth & Business Development- A Global Agency is seeking top performer with exceptional experience driving growth with brands in brand experience and performance marketing. This person is a leader and integral part of the Growth & Leadership team to help the Global team meet annual revenue targets through building brand awareness and managing the business development process.
Build & Track Brand Awareness
· Develop marketing plan in partnership with the corporate Brand Marketing team to build the Agency brand across online, social media, PR, content, live events, industry awards, project marketing, thought leadership, CRM and brand communications
· Manage Salesforce CRM: import identified contacts into Salesforce; identify and organize prospects for sales campaigns; generate sales and outreach reports; track, document and follow-up on sales outreach
Pursuit & Acquisition
· Push & support the business development process forward with Growth & Leadership team
· Support and help close new business opportunities with targeted new accounts through the execution of a disciplined new business development protocol
· Manage the proposal process to ensure that resources are assigned and scheduled effectively, costs are monitored, and appropriate budgets are developed
· Ensure appropriate team is harnessed to support pursuit and build relationship & ensure a robust frequency of client interaction amongst the growth team
Research Opportunities
· Research industry segments, company profiles and specific relevant company initiatives to assess needs and define a strategy for pursuing an account.
· Identify and follow up on trade journal leads to identify new opportunities for the company to pursue
· Develop pursuit plans for each target, ensuring research results in intelligent contact with client prospects
Qualifications
· 8 years of marketing experience with a recognized agency selling marketing or consulting services (creative solutions a big plus)
· Strong relationship building skills and a passion for leading
· Excellent project management, time management and follow-up skills
· A compelling, confident personality with a passion for marketing
· Proficiency in core sales competencies: accountability for results, client focus, team effectiveness, sales drive, organizational sophistication and influencing others.
