This client is addressing the gap in healthcare for autistic adults by providing specialized, virtual mental health services covered by insurance. Their innovative autism assessment often diagnoses clients for the first time, paired with individualized therapy and community support.
In just 18 months since founding, the company has achieved double-digit millions in run-rate revenue, thousands of active clients, and a team of 150 clinicians. With a lean, ambitious team, they recently raised a Series A from leading investors and healthcare operators. Their bold ambition is to reach and transform the lives of millions of autistic and neurodivergent adults.
The Role
The candidate will step into a unique role with significant traction, playing a pivotal role in creating the foundation for an enduring business. In a generalist role, the candidate's work will span across all dimensions of the business. Eventually, the goal is for one of the projects to become a function that the candidate will own and build out. The candidate will:
- Report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with the team, clients, and clinicians to solve strategic challenges, take operational processes from 0 to 1, and develop a playbook to turn processes into scalable functions
- Support the early team in building culture and recruiting high-performing team members
- Be a driving force of execution, tackling a never-ending list of tasks with energy and initiative
Here are a few examples of tasks the candidate might work on over the next few months:
- Analyze the client journey and identify key levers to reduce drop-off points, improve retention, and ensure more seamless care
- Determine appropriate KPIs for functions and build out KPI dashboards for the team to have visibility on the business
- Optimize utilization and variable costs to increase margin
- Launch and test new distribution channels, including partnerships and provider referrals
About the Candidate
- 6-10 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, startups, or a similar role
- Excited by the early stage, which means working in a high degree of ambiguity with a strong ability to take ownership and operate independently
- Analytical, data-oriented, first-principled thinker: able to think logically and communicate clearly; open to data-driven discussion and other opinions via thoughtful discussion
- A scrappy mentality with a bias for action and velocity: someone who can get things done
