The Opportunity
We are seeking a vibrant, dynamic and an out of the box performer to join our Rocktree team as an; Executive Assistant and Paralegal to be based in Stamford, Connecticut, USA.
Your contributions to our joint success
- Manage the General Counsel's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Serve as a liaison between the General Counsel and internal/external stakeholders.
- Conduct basic legal research and gather relevant information for legal proceedings.
- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
- Maintain and organize legal files and records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Support the General Counsel in managing compliance and regulatory matters.
Skills which will aid your success
- 2-3 years of professional experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
- A bachelor's degree (Legal studies, Business Administration, or a related field).
- Strong academic background.
- Team player and willing to adapt to changes for improvement of workflow.
- Proactive with strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong legal capabilities.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail and problem-solving oriented.
- Experience collaborating across multiple departments and functions.
- Desire to grow in a dynamic and international environment.
- Additional language skills (e.g. Spanish) are a plus.
- Experience in Common Law jurisdictions.
- Exposure to technology or relevant industry sectors.
- International study or work experience is an advantage.
