The Opportunity
We are seeking a vibrant, dynamic and an out of the box performer to join our Rocktree team as a; Tax Manager, Legal Counsel to be based in Stamford, Connecticut, USA.
Your contributions to our joint success
- Bridge the gap between legal and financial considerations to protect the organization's interests.
- Learn Rocktree's tax strategies, ensure legal compliance and optimize company's tax position.
- Manage global tax matters, providing strategic tax advice, and ensuring tax compliance across jurisdictions.
- Lead tax planning and compliance for international operations.
- Manage tax audits and any resulting action.
- Review complex transactions and corporate restructurings.
- Provide tax guidance on M&A structuring activities and deals.
- Develop tax policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with external advisors.
- Monitor tax legislation changes globally.
Skills which will aid your success
- 5 years of tax experience in multinational environment.
- A Law Degree or Master's in Tax/Accounting.
- Strong understanding of international taxation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English; additional languages preferred (i.e., Spanish).
- Experience with tax technology platforms.
- Professional certification (CPA/Attorney/Tax Advisor).
- Positive attitude that thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovation.
- Project management skills.
- Experience in leadership roles.
- Experience in the same industry is an advantage.
