Required Education, Course Work and Experience Requirements
- Must be at least 19 years old
- HS diploma or GED Required
- 90 Hour Early Childhood Education certification or 6 semester hours (45 hours of Curriculum and 45 hours of Child Development) (or CDA, AA degree or higher with approved coursework in early childhood education, Teacher certificate from MSDE or any other state for early childhood N-3)
- 9 clock hrs. of approved training in communicating with staff, parents and the public
- 3 clock hours in ADA compliance
- 1 year of experience or 1 year of college, or a combination of experience & college equaling 1 year
- Year of Experience full time (2080)
- Must be verified and in a group setting or licensed family child care home
- Infant/Toddler teachers must also have approved training in supporting breastfeeding practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- 90 hour certification in Early Childhood (ECE) (Required)
