Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and possess the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages. We are looking for those with strong qualifications in ballet, technique, acro or pre-school dance. This role involves creating a positive learning environment that fosters creativity, discipline, and a love for dance. The Dance Instructor will be responsible for developing lesson plans based upon our syllabus, managing classroom dynamics, creating a piece for recital and ensuring the overall development of each student.

Responsibilities

• Implement engaging dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
• Conduct dance classes in various styles, with an emphasis on ballet technique where applicable.
• Would like a qualification through acrobatic arts for the acro instructor. We are willing to help the instructor go through this process.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a focused learning environment.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Collaborate with other instructors to organize performances and showcase events.
• Stay updated on current trends in dance education and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.

Skills

• Strong background in various dance styles. We are specifically looking for acro, ballet and technique.
• Experience working with students in an educational or recreational setting.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles to cater to varying age groups effectively.
• Excellent classroom management skills to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
