Job duties include: Prepare design ideas in the form of scale drawings, 3-D models, and illustrations, and present designs to licensed architects for review and approval. Research projects and apply knowledge of interior design, architecture, planning, construction techniques and procedures to ongoing projects. Design and formulate unified environmental plans in line with the practical and aesthetic goals of clients. Analyze buildings, building systems, and materials, and assess the condition of a building and its parts to formulate design strategies. Liaise between clients, project consultants, and product representatives.
Candidates must have at least a Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field, or equivalent as determined by a qualified credentials evaluation service, and at least 9 months of professional experience working in commercial and residential design within the architecture industry. Must have at least 9 months of experience working on multiple phases of the architectural design process, including schematic design and construction administration. Must have at least 9 months of experience preparing scale drawings and 3D models of architectural designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Must have at least 9 months of experience leading construction administration for commercial and multi-family residential projects. Must be proficient in AutoCAD, InDesign, Revit, Sketchup, and V-Ray. Annual salary: $87,589.
