As a Remote Architect, you will be responsible for developing and implementing creative and technical solutions for various projects, from initial concept to construction completion. This role will require exceptional design skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and clients remotely.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with project team members remotely to develop initial concept designs and presentations
- Create detailed construction drawings and specifications
- Conduct research to inform design decisions and stay updated on industry trends and advancements
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants remotely to ensure project success
- Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources remotely
- Ensure projects comply with building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards
- Review and provide feedback on design proposals and drawings from team members
- Use BIM (Building Information Modeling) software to create 3D models and visualizations of project designs
- Provide support and guidance to junior architects and interns on the team
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards
- Excellent design and visualization skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team remotely
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working with high - profile clients and projects is a plus
- Prior experience in remote work or managing remote teams is preferred but not required
