Our healthcare facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care and urgent care settings, with a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare to patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries in patients of all ages.
- Manage chronic health conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care and education to patients and their families.
- Perform routine health screenings, immunizations, and preventive care services.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, X-rays, and EKGs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and referrals as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient counseling and education on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Stay current with evidence-based practice guidelines and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- Active state license as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority.
