Summary:
Rockwell Springs Trout Club, located on Little Pickerel Creek near Castalia, Ohio, was established in 1900. Our facilities are set on 125 acres with three miles of spring fed stream where our members and guests fly-fish for rainbow, brook, brown and tiger trout year-round. Our fish hatchery and 120 years of history and tradition make Rockwell Springs Trout Club a premier sporting facility. The membership of Rockwell Springs is wide ranging consisting of 900 members from 28 states. Our accommodations include dining, bar, meeting, and 18 overnight rooms. We invite a family atmosphere to provide a respite for our members.
A successful candidate for our grounds crew will have mechanical skills and knowledge, be detail oriented, outside-the-box thinker, with a positive attitude and a desire to help our team care for and improve our picturesque facilities and grounds. Our ideal candidate will have any or all of the following skills: landscape/garden maintenance, machine operation and maintenance, habitat management, or aquaculture experience.
Reports to: Hatchery and Facilities Manager
Job Duties:
· Grounds and stream upkeep such as mowing, landscaping, tree planting, aquatic vegetation control, stream bank repairs, bridge maintenance, etc.
· Assists with hatchery operations: moving fish, loading fish, cleaning tanks and floors, high water concerns, etc.
· Operates all Club equipment responsibly, respectfully and safely.
· Assists Members with fish cleaning/packaging and billing.
· Assists with any repairs when help is needed.
· Keeps shop and other work areas clean and well organized.
· Works in all weather conditions year round.
· Works in and around water year round.
· Effectively communicate with coworkers and supervisor.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
