Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain various systems within our facility. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring equipment reliability and efficiency, while also providing excellent customer service to residents.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Be able to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
- Basic plumbing and electric knowledge.
- Experience with floor (carpet/ vinyl) and cabinet installation.
- Able to turn a unit; find any issues and repair as well as wall repairs and paint.
- Communicate effectively in English with team members and other departments to coordinate maintenance efforts.
- Agree to be on call on a rotation basis.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with apartment maintenance.
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
