Job Overview :
Rockwood Capital is seeking a Capital Markets Professional, whose primary responsibility will be to source and structure acquisition financings, refinancings and Fund level borrowings across all Rockwood vehicles.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work both directly and with mortgage brokers, prepare financing memorandums and market assets to lenders for acquisition financing and refinancings
- Manage / participate in all aspects of borrowings including structuring loan terms in line with asset business plans, negotiate term sheets and documents, managing deliverables, etc. from launch through closing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with real estate debt providers and stay up to date on financing market trends
- Work closely with acquisition and asset management teams, developing supportable financing assumptions and providing timely market feedback; restructure existing capital structures as needed
- Monitor loan portfolio for maturities and opportunities to refinance / optimize capital structures for existing assets.
- Recommend and execute hedges as appropriate
