Job Title: CWI for NESTED Position
Acuren is a trusted provider of technology-enabled asset protection solutions used to evaluate the structural integrity of critical energy, industrial and public infrastructures.
About the Role:
- Perform visual and non-destructive examination of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
- Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition
- Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment, as required for safe operation within stated operating parameters
- Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues
- Offer guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures
- Maintain compliance with all Acuren and client safe work practices, participating actively in site safety initiatives
- Will travel if necessary
Requirements:
- 5-10 years' experience or 2 years on-site experience
- API 653, 510, or 570 certification (an advantage)
- Extensive working knowledge of CWI and ASME standards
- Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers
