Position Overview:
The Lead Data Analyst for Data Segmentation and Automation will provide strategic direction and technical leadership to enhance Data Segmentation strategies and advance automation initiatives. This role focuses on optimizing analytics and operational workflows related to deposit products. You will leverage advanced data analysis, predictive modeling, and process optimization expertise to drive growth. You will also lead and mentor a team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, impactful solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Data Segmentation:
Develop and refine data-driven Data Segmentation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders.
Analyze segment-specific trends to inform and improve product offerings and strategies.
Champion the use of advanced analytics to enhance Data Segmentation across platforms.
Automation & Workflow Optimization:
Direct the development and implementation of automated processes for data collection, analysis, and reporting. Establish best practices and ensure scalability.
Lead the creation of scripts and tools to optimize segmentation and performance tracking.
Oversee the integration of APIs, ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms to deliver advanced analytics capabilities within operational systems.
Establish and enforce automation standards, ensuring robust and reliable processes.
Data Visualization & Reporting:
Set the strategy for designing and maintaining dashboards to monitor key deposit performance metrics (balances, attrition, churn) by customer segment.
Direct the creation of automated, real-time reports to support strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
Ensure the consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of team-produced reports and dashboards.
Collaboration, Stakeholder Engagement & Team Leadership:
Foster a collaborative environment, enabling effective teamwork with product and marketing teams to influence campaign development.
Manage team performance, training, and professional growth.
Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives to increase deposit penetration in key customer segments.
Provide leadership and coaching to empower team members to adopt new tools and automated processes.
Represent the data team in key meetings, communicating findings and proposals.
Compliance & Data Integrity:
Ensure all segmentation and automation workflows adhere to financial regulations, data privacy standards, and internal policies.
Maintain high standards of data accuracy, security, and integrity across automated systems.
Establish protocols for data validation and error handling, ensuring the reliability of analytical outputs.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: 10 years in data analytics, Data Segmentation, and automation, with a preference for banking or financial services. Proven experience leading and managing a team is essential.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
Advanced experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Deep understanding of workflow automation and predictive analytics techniques.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Team Responsibilities :
Automate existing dashboards (Daily dashboards for CHK, PSV, MMSA, RSV, and CD).
Oversee and update the Transaction Tracker Dashboard.
Manage the Members and Non-members Offer Database.
Support BI reporting (e.g., LAM reports, stable deposit reports, email, and direct mail dashboards).
Maintain the Direct Deposit Table.
