Rocky Brands, Inc. is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of premium quality footwear and apparel marketed under a portfolio of well-recognized brand names. The Associate Ecommerce Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, analysis and reporting of a rapidly growing direct-to-consumer ecommerce site(s) in an effort to drive revenue through compelling product and brand storytelling and capture maximum margin through smart merchandising and efficient operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage a rapidly growing direct-to-consumer ecommerce website(s) by collaborating with the greater ecomm and brand teams to maximize the online shopping experience.
- Create compelling content, optimize site merchandising, execute user experience enhancements, conduct reporting and actively project manage related activities.
- Work closely with Customer Service team leads to communicate new product launches, and promotional activities.
- Assist in coordination of third-party drop-ship function.
- Partner with third party vendors and agencies to maintain, update, and optimize both the front and back-end of the ecommerce site.
- Assist in development of seasonal and yearly ecommerce calendars in alignment with overall brand initiatives.
- Load products, optimize PDPs, collaborate with marketing and execute all general day-to-day ecommerce activities.
- Assist with non-ecommerce specific marketing and brand building activities as required
- Analyze site performance metrics and user behavior to inform optimization efforts and support data-driven decision making
- Manage ecommerce-related projects from conception to execution, ensuring timely and effective delivery of initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Preference in Marketing/Analytics/Business Management).
- A minimum of 2 years in a product-based ecommerce environment.
- Understanding of ecommerce KPIs and what drives the metrics.
Additional Candidate Qualifications:
- Experience working in ecommerce or digital marketing, experience in the footwear or apparel industry is preferable.
- Knowledge of the work, hunt, farm/ranch, fishing and/or outdoor markets preferred but not required.
- Experience with email marketing systems.
- Experience with Demandware/SF Commerce Cloud/Shopify
- Experience with Google Analytics and knowledge of how to action on platform insights.
- Project management experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
