Job Description
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Rocky Creek Youth Ranch, you will have a unique opportunity to provide therapeutic support to youth in both individual and group settings. This role involves creating, implementing, and maintaining individualized treatment plans while engaging clients in various forms of counseling, including individual, group, family, and crisis intervention as needed.
You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that all therapeutic interventions align with our trauma-informed care principles and meet each youth’s unique needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Assess client needs and create individualized, trauma-informed treatment plans to address therapeutic goals.
- Provide Counseling Services: Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions, offering crisis intervention as necessary.
- Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other mental health professionals and support staff to deliver coordinated care.
- Utilize Trauma-Informed Care Practices: Apply a person-centered approach in all interactions, ensuring that interventions respect and respond to the impact of trauma.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all client interactions and progress in compliance with facility standards.
- Support Positive Outcomes: Contribute to a supportive, therapeutic environment that fosters healing, resilience, and personal growth.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and valid LPC or LCSW license in the State of Missouri.
- Experience: Previous experience in trauma-informed care and person-centered approaches is preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
