BCIPS @ Rocky Mount Pain and Spine is looking for a qualified Laboratory Analyst to join our laboratory. This is a full-time career opportunity with benefits.

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Maintain quality control and quality assessment on laboratory IA (immunoassay) and LC/MS (Liquid Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry) instruments

- Prepare urine and oral fluid samples for IA and LC/MS testing and perform sample validity testing

- Analyze test data to create laboratory reports

- Maintain any necessary daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance for the IA and LC/MS

- Prepare all necessary calibration standards, mobile phases, and quality controls to ensure accurate testing.

* Applicant must possess a high level of attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work quickly and accurately.

- Perform other lab duties as required.

Minimum Requirements: 2 year degree in a laboratory science or clinical chemistry program - i.e. biology, chemistry or laboratory science degree

-OR- 4 year degree in a laboratory science (biology, chemistry, or laboratory science, etc.) or clinical chemistry program

***we cannot accept degrees other than laboratory science.

This position will be located in Rocky Mount, NC (Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts)

Compensation will be based upon experience. Please include your salary requirements with the attached questionnaire when you apply. At the interview you will need to bring with you a picture/copy of your degree as well as a copy of your transcript (unofficial is okay) as we cannot accept someone without the minimum requirements shown above (must be in a laboratory science or clinical chemistry program - we cannot accept humanities degrees or non-laboratory science degrees for this position).
