Job Title
Liquid Plant Operator
Position Reports To
Plant Manager

Purpose:
This position is primarily responsible for the safe blending, loading and inventory of the liquid plant, as well as maintaining and repairing the facilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Safely perform assigned work and look out for the safety of others
- Unload and process all incoming inventory, including unloading/loading tankers, flatbeds, and rail cars
- Assist in maintaining inventory for product mixing
- Complete the mixing and blending of liquid fertilizers
- Operate telehandler and forklifts to mix or load products
- Aid in loading trucks and totes with product
- Complete fertilizer blend sheets
- Maintain outside appearances of physical plant to ensure public image is positive
- Aid in maintenance and construction of plant projects, equipment, and buildings during off-season
- Aid in installing new tanks, mixers, lines, etc. at the plant
- Assist with delivery as needed
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 years’ prior experience in an industrial or agricultural work setting - required
- Ability to prioritize operations in light of multiple priorities and conflicting demands – required
- Strong teamwork skills - required
- Excellent communication skills - preferred
- Current CDL - preferred
Requirements:
- Sit, stand, lift frequently; occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds
- Bend, twist, climb, reach, kneel, crawl frequently
- Typical visual and auditory abilities required (with or without medically prescribed correction)
