Technician (Carpet Cleaning/Restoration)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
• Perform various floor care cleaning duties according to scope of work.
• Maintain safe & clean work environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
• Maintain a clean and professional physical appearance.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Must be dependable
• Be respectful to customers and staff.
• Perform production processes following Rocky Mountain Cleaning & Restoration guidelines and management and per management directions.
• Ensure clear two-way communication with other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns).
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave job-site with a clean and orderly appearance.
• Position Requirements:
• Effective oral communication
• Available to work overtime and at off-cycle hours
• Basic math skills
• Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
• High school diploma/GED
• IICRC certifications WRT and FSRT preferred for technician
• IICRC certifications ASD and AMRT preferred
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals

Licenses/Certifications:

• Driver’s License (Required)
• United States Citizen or ability to work in US (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
