Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (RMCAD) is seeking a full-time Videographer at our vibrant campus in Lakewood, Colorado. This will be a hybrid position, with a minimum of 2 days per week on campus plus event attendance, as needed this could be on some weekends. The videographer will be an accomplished visual storyteller, communicator, and collaborator.
This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing and work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to plan, coordinate, shoot, and edit videos for the RMCAD website, social media, advertising, admissions, and events. The position will also use technical expertise to film engaging content for live streamed events, improving the online event experience for students and the public. It will also require occasional photography work and will serve as a backup to the primary RMCAD Photographer as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to plan, coordinate, shoot, and edit videos for a variety of uses (advertising, admissions, social media, website, etc).
- Produce motion graphics and build into video production.
- Work alongside the marketing team to develop and implement content, from the brainstorming phase through production.
- Work with the Social Media Coordinator to interview students, alumni, faculty, and staff and develop compelling stories.
- Develop narrative videos that authentically reflect the RMCAD brand and student experience.
- Conduct interviews while filming.
- Manage RMCAD’s YouTube channel and develop content for Tiktok.
- Produce and maintain short informational videos (programs, admissions, financial aid, etc.)
- Ensure all videos meet the latest accessibility and legal guidelines.
- Work on tight deadlines to deliver content quickly when needed.
- Run video content through the internal review process.
- Maintain a library of videos and photography.
- Maintain video equipment and recommend updating or replacement when needed.
- Attend and film events and ceremonies.
- Collaborate with IT to develop a strategy and implement a process to improve the online experience for live streamed events.
- Serve as a back-up for the staff photographer, when needed.
- Behaviors and Attitudes reflect RMCAD's Mission, Vision, and Values. Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in videography, photography, arts and media, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a professional videographer.
- Knowledge of social media best practices.
- Expertise with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator as needed. Adobe Creative Cloud editing tools.
- Portfolio of video work.
- Excellent attention to detail and collaboration/communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in higher education.
- This position will be hybrid and located in Lakewood, CO.
- Less than 10% travel will be required.
- A video and photography portfolio is required for consideration.
