Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with potential clients. Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the sale of existing and new contractor/retail customers at our lumberyard.
- Conduct outbound calls to potential clients, introducing our products and services.
- Learn the basics of managing a sales funnel.
- Learn the basic steps of selling - Qualify, Present, and Close.
- Develop a limited number of leads into quotes.
- Nurture those quotes through the buying process.
- Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients through regular follow-ups.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Utilize software tools to track and manage customer interactions.
- Conduct warm calling to existing customers for upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge.
Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent, previous experience will be considered in lieu of education.
- Prior experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify new opportunities and close deals.
- Excellent phone etiquette and persuasive communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong self-motivation.
- Proficiency in using software tools for managing customer interactions.
