Position Purpose
The Human Resources Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and enhancing HR processes and systems. This role ensures that the HR function runs smoothly and efficiently while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional with a strong operational focus, capable of implementing HR initiatives aligned with the organization’s goals and values.
Essential Duties
HR Operations Management
- Lead and manage core HR functions, including benefits administration, recruiting, employee records.
- Continuously improve operational processes and leverage technology for efficiency.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain accurate records and oversee affirmative action and EEO reporting.
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance efficiency.
- Oversee data collection and reporting for informed decision-making while maintaining confidentiality.
Employee Relations & Policies
- Provide guidance on HR policies and employee relations issues to support a positive work environment.
- Develop and update job descriptions, personnel policies, and the employee handbook.
Team Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and develop the HR team, fostering continuous learning and excellence.
- Monitor departmental activities to ensure consistency, compliance, and high-quality service delivery.
Additional Duties
- Handle employee relations counseling, evaluate department initiatives, and recommend improvements.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience working in Human Resources
- 3 years previous experience with HRIS software, Paycom Preferred
- 3 years progressively responsible mgmt./supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR/SPHR
- Master's degree in human resource management.
- Bilingual Spanish

Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
