What will you do as a Logistics Coordinator?
The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in Lobo Logistics’ frac sand delivery operations. This position ensures that job-critical materials and equipment reach their destinations safely, efficiently, and on time. Success in this role requires a combination of technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills to navigate industry complexities and consistently deliver operational results.
Objectives for This Role:
- Ensure the right drivers are in place, loads are assigned efficiently, and deliveries occur on time to prevent disruptions in customer operations.
- Maintain effective and transparent driver management and communication to improve driver retention.
- Serve as a liaison between drivers, operations, supply chain management, and billing to ensure accurate invoicing and payments for customers and vendors.
- Uphold Lobo’s carrier and driver safety standards to ensure safe last-mile logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up job details in operational systems and ensure all necessary resources are prepared for dispatch within the assigned region.
- Maintain an active driver list, ensuring drivers are informed of routes and expectations.
- Monitor daily driver check-ins and drive times.
- Create and assign loads to drivers within the transportation management system (TMS).
- Act as the primary communication hub between drivers, on-site operations, and internal teams.
- Meet driver turn targets to optimize active truck utilization.
- Continuously monitor load assignments and provide real-time directions to drivers.
- Analyze driver maps to optimize load assignments and maintain field operations.
- Maintain communication with the operations team regarding truck counts, load status, and potential risks.
- Address disruptions promptly to ensure a steady delivery flow.
- Oversee the dispatching process to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations of load assignments and documentation for accuracy.
- Monitor driver hours to ensure alignment with company policies and DOT regulations.
- Document carrier incidents and accidents to maintain accurate carrier performance ratings.
- Collaborate with operations to assign and dispatch assets for mobilization or demobilization.
- Ensure clear communication during transition phases to confirm resource availability.
- Optimize active driver load assignments to maximize delivery efficiency.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate operational impacts.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

- Previous dispatch or trucking experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience working in Oil & Gas is preferred but not required.
- Strong critical-thinking skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in multiple software platforms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to learn and use web-based software (after a 90-day internal training period).
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills.

- Spanish language skills are a plus but not required

Schedule & Location:
- This is an office-based role at Lobo Logistics’ headquarters in Centennial, CO, with convenient access to the RTD rail system, I-25, I-225, and E-470.
- Lobo operates 24/7. The Logistics Coordinator will work 12-hour shifts on a 10 days on / 5 days off schedule, with required coverage for both day and night shifts.
Compensation & Benefits:
- This position offers an attractive compensation package consisting of a hourly rate of $18-24 per hour with additional bonus opportunities.
