Position: Service Technician
Location: Various locations
Rotation: 14 days on duty; 7 days off duty
Objective: The Service Technician will ensure all company equipment's safe and efficient operation by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role includes testing, inspecting, and servicing critical equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, and addressing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues across various systems. The Technician will work closely with the Director of Maintenance to support daily operations, improve maintenance procedures, and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Travel to field locations and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key components of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test and repair equipment according to Company standards.
- Perform daily maintenance on all equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and lubrication on all Company equipment.
- Perform main component changes on engines, pumps, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, Wireline units, etc.
- Conduct repairs and inspections of equipment for critical jobs at the well site.
- Operate for maintenance purposes only, all items of equipment found at the location.
- Plan scheduled maintenance tasks and keep required records
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and computer-based equipment and systems on location.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems on equipment on location.
- Assist Director of Maintenance in promoting job safety, ordering parts, maintaining spares inventory, preventative maintenance reporting, and with the planning and operating of the maintenance department.
- Identify component and assembly problems and propose solutions.
- Travel to various basin locations to assist with the maintenance of equipment.
- Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs in the location.
- Keep current on new mechanical equipment and maintenance techniques.
- Attend safety and operations improvement meetings.
- Comply with all government, industry and company regulations and standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment, as well as, reduce environmental impact

Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma
Experience: 3-5 years of equipment maintenance.
