Summary

As a Residential Staff member at Rocky Mountain Kids, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and physical well-being of adolescents in our care. This position is crucial for creating a nurturing environment that promotes healing and development, ensuring that each child receives the support they need during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and supervision to residents in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and recreational activities.
• Implement therapeutic interventions as directed by clinical staff to promote emotional healing.
• Monitor residents' behavior and provide guidance to help them develop coping skills.
• Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any incidents that occur.
• Collaborate with team members to create individualized care plans for each resident.

Requirements

• Experience in social work or direct support roles preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with adolescents and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate approach towards individuals dealing with trauma and emotional challenges.
