Position

Rocky Mountain Laboratories specializes in providing quick patient turnaround time and upholds high reliability and professionalism within our team. We seek a part-time evening courier to efficiently capture pertinent data and transport medical-related materials from internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of medical specimens to designated destinations, adhering to established schedules and protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle, including regular inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines while operating the vehicle and handling medical specimens.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and other team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any special instructions.
• Handle specimens with care and attention to detail, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and storage during transport.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or inquiries from clients or recipients during pickups and deliveries.
• Assist with loading and unloading specimens, equipment, and supplies as needed, following proper lifting and handling procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all pickups, deliveries, and related activities using company-provided software or paperwork.
• Attend training sessions or meetings as required to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot any issues or challenges encountered during daily operations, contributing to a positive team environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License
• Personal auto insurance is required.
• Clean driving record.
• Active smartphone (Android or iPhone) with an adequate data plan.
• Federal Tax ID Number (EIN).
• Route flexibility.
• Previous medical courier experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years of driving experience in previous roles.
• Comfortable navigating routing software and GPS.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to operate a vehicle for long periods.

Ideal start date: ASAP or whenever we find the right fit.

License/Certification:

• Valid Driver's License (Required).

Work Location: Multiple Locations, Denver, CO, and surrounding areas (On the road, in-person)

Job Type: around 15-25 hours per week to start, and hopefully lead to full-time.

Schedule to start: Mondays to Wednesdays from 1600 to 2200.

Salary: Starting from $18.00 per hour.

Benefits:

• Company vehicle during working hours.
• Eligible for a bonus of 10% of monthly pay.
• If moved to full-time, we offer benefits including Health, Vision, Dental insurance, and PTO.
• 8% Differential for the hours between 10 pm and 5 am, and weekends.

• Aurora, CO: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required)

• This position will start as part-time, and may have the option to lead to full-time as our business grows in the area. The schedule to start will be Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting at 3 or 4 pm and ending between 9-11 pm depending on the volume for that day. Does this work for you?

Experience:

• Medical Courier: 1 year (Preferred)
• Delivery driver, courier or related: 2 years (Required)
• long-haul driving and overnight: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Aurora, CO: Relocate before starting work (Required)
