Position Overview
We are seeking a Female Specimen Collector to perform observed toxicology collections for female patients at our partner facility in Tooele, UT. This role ensures compliance with privacy standards and is critical in maintaining the integrity of the collection process. As the face of the laboratory, you will provide exceptional customer service while accurately collecting, documenting, and handling specimens.
This position complies with observed collection standards established to protect patient privacy and comfort during the specimen collection process.
This part-time position requires flexibility, as workdays and hours will vary weekly based on the facility's needs. You will receive your schedule at least one week in advance, with workdays on weekdays only and hours typically between 6:00 AM and 1:00 PM and three days a week.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as we find the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Hourly Pay: $17-20 per hour (DOE).
Work Location
In-person at our partner facility in Tooele, UT.

Responsibilities
- Perform observed toxicology specimen collections for female patients in accordance with established procedures
- Accurately input patient and specimen data into the laboratory information system (LIS)
- Verify and label specimens with appropriate identifiers
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and processing of specimens
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation following established protocols
- Provide clear and professional communication with patients and laboratory staff
- Ensure infection control procedures and maintain a clean and professional work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in phlebotomy, CNA, Med Tech, or a related field is preferred (newly certified candidates are encouraged to apply)
- Experience in specimen collection and data entry is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Must pass a background check
