Landscaping Crew Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Crew Lead to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing landscape projects, managing a crew, and ensuring high-quality work. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on landscaping experience, and the ability to work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a crew of landscape technicians, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
• Perform and oversee landscaping duties, including sprinkler install and new landscape construction
• Train and mentor crew members in best practices for safety and efficiency.
• Maintain high-quality standards and attention to detail in all landscape work.
• Communicate effectively crew members, and management.
• Monitor project progress, address challenges, and adapt work plans as necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of landscaping experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of landscaping techniques and irrigation systems.
• Skills: Ability to operate landscaping equipment
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team and manage workflow effectively.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• License: Valid driver’s license required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hardscaping, paver installation, or retaining walls.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
