Rocky Mountain Law Enforcement Federal Credit Union is looking for a Marketing / Business Development Specialist to help grow their membership and to maintain business relations with existing members. This position is in-office at the Credit Union located at 700 W. 39th Avenue, Denver, CO.

Summary :
To develop a strategy consistent with the Strategic Business Plan that considers economic indicators; changes in supply and demand; members’ current and future needs, and competition. The Credit Union will provide training on products and services. Bank or credit union experience preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Ensures marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives consistent with the Strategic Plan.
- Attends Credit Union sponsored events to promote our products and services with a goal of increasing membership.
- Works with executive management to obtain market share by developing marketing plans and programs for each product; directs promotional support.
- Maintains relations with members by organizing and developing specific customer relations programs; determining company presence at conventions, annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.
- Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
- Influences present and future products by determining and evaluating current and future market trends.
- Develops new uses for existing products by analyzing statistics regarding market development; acquiring and analyzing data; consulting with internal and external sources.
- Works with executive management to maintain marketing on website, Savvy Money, digital in-branch displays, digital banking as well as all promotional flyers and newsletters.
- Provides marketing information by answering questions and requests.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Maintains marketing results by promotions, including return on investments.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Informs, energizes, and assists staff in meeting sales goals.
- Builds an effective Advisory Board of members in various SEGs to be used for information gathering and information dissemination.
