Warehouse Associate

The warehouse employee reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. The warehouse employee is responsible for following work instructions obtained from Warehouse Supervisor.
Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for receiving and shipping duties.
• Accurately pull products to fill orders and prepare products for shipping.
• Ensure inventory transactions are accurately logged.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments and supporting documentations.
• Monitor and report to the supervisor any issues within the warehouse.
• Practice safety requirements.
• Maintain appearance of warehouse facility including sweeping when necessary. Promptly notify supervisor of any floor area that needs immediate cleaning due to damaged (leaky) product.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments and supporting documentations.
• Must complete training required for operating box-strapper, forklift, pallet jack, and hand jack. Must safely operate warehouse equipment’s using safety procedures.
• Monitor and report any signs or evidence of product tempering.
• Continuously improve warehouse operations.
• Responsible for product receiving, materials receiving, re-boxing, and shipping. Accurately pull products to fill orders and prepare products for shipping.
• If necessary, move pallets and palletized boxed products with forklift, pallet jack and hand jack.
• Report to supervisor any damaged boxes or packaging supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Know how to use power pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Able to meet physical requirements: lift approximately 20 pounds regularly, lift approximately 50 pounds occasionally, and be able to stand throughout the day.
• Knowledge of barcode scanning equipment.
• Ability to follow work instructions.

Experience:

• Crown Stand Up Forklift: 2 years (Required)
