We are looking for a compounding pharmacy technician to join our team! Willing to train, no experience necessary. No nights, weekends, or holidays.

Rocky Mountain Pharmacy has been compounding non-sterile medications since 1999. Our mission is to provide the highest quality compounded medications as well as outstanding customer convenience, service, and care for our human and pet patients. We recently moved locations and are looking to expand our amazing pharmacy team!
We are open Monday through Friday from 10 AM β 5:30 PM (No weekends, nights, or holidays!).
Your role on the pharmacy team will include a variety of tasks including non-sterile compounding, prescription filling, customer service and other administrative activities as needed.
As an important member of our pharmacy team, you will help maintain a clean, organized and efficient pharmacy operation and will be cross trained to perform the duties of other team members when needed.
Technician Responsibilities:
- Receive medication orders, measure quantities, mix ingredients, package medications, and update records.
- Compounding capsules, oral liquids, topical medications, nasal preparations, suppositories, troches, tablet triturates or lollipops. Hormones and other potentially hazardous chemicals are used in nonsterile compounding.
- Compounding technicians shall have knowledge of and follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures as well as USP 795 and 800 guidelines.
- Standards for accuracy, pharmaceutical elegance and potency shall be consistently met
- Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning using appropriate disinfectants and techniques
- Maintain the ongoing medication inventory and place medication orders when instructed.
Minimum Requirements for the Pharmacy Technician opportunity:
- Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician with the Montana State Board of Pharmacy or eligible to become licensed (must be 18 or older, have High School Diploma, and be of good moral character)
- Attention to detail and cleanliness is a must
- Must be friendly, hardworking, adaptable, and proactive
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
