If the team makes the postseason, the season may extend by one week. The playoff tournament will take place on Saturday, May 10th, followed by a spring sports banquet.
In this role, you will…
Required:
RMP employs coach positions as part-time, salaried, non-exempt positions. The intended total compensation will be $3,500, paid in equal monthly installments during the duration of the coaching role. Coaches will divide this compensation and determine it before the season.

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Rocky Mountain Prep does not sponsor visas at this time.

- 100% of seniors accepted to college
- 40% of 3rd-8th grade students meet their Accelerated Reader millionaire goal
- RMP meets its network enrollment goal

In this role, you will…
- Follows the rules and regulations of the school and league of participation
- Attend mandatory preseason rules meetings
- Attend post-season coaches' meetings
- Meet with the Athletic Director regularly throughout the season to discuss progress
- Time-sensitive communication with the Athletic Director
- Utilize the development opportunities provided by the Athletic Director and Network Athletic Director
- Organize, schedule, and supervise practice sessions (min. 2x/week)
- Communicate any practice changes to the Athletic Director
- Manage staff of assistant coaches and any managers.
- Supervise and be responsible for the equipment in your sport, including handing out and collecting uniforms
- Responsible for communicating and disseminating information to players, families, and the broader school community related to practice schedules, tryout information, and any other relevant program information
- Maintains appropriate supervision of his/her program at all times (locker rooms, practices, events, bus rides, etc.). Supervises any and all space used by athletes while they are present, including post-game and post-practice
- Assures that the team will always reflect the proper attitude and conduct
- Represents the school professionally in demeanor, language, and conduct
- Any ad hoc duties assigned by the Athletic Director
Required:
- Experience preferred, demonstrable understanding of the sport seeking to coach
- Teamwork and teambuilding skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Speaks Spanish
- Demonstrated success working with students from historically marginalized communities
