RMT, an industry leader in design and manufacturing of cutting tools, is seeking an Engineering Technician to assist with designing custom products that improve performance and increase productivity. As an Engineering Technician at RMT, you will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, assist in testing products, machinery, and equipment under the guidance of the Engineering Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Utilize SolidWorks design software to develop solid models and detail drawings
- Devise, fabricate, and assemble mechanical components for industrial equipment
- Conduct tests to investigate design proposals and obtain data for quality control
- Analyze test results and modify equipment to meet specifications
- Record test procedures, results, and recommendations for product improvements
