Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose dental conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Provide a range of dental services, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records for all patients.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry, including techniques in endodontics and the use of medical imaging.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the dental clinic.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth office operations.
- Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental terminology.
- Experience with medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records is preferred.
- Familiarity with endodontics procedures is a plus.
- Proficiency in using medical imaging technology within a dental context is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred but not required for recent graduates.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
