Childcare Site Lead- Kid Care

This site lead position will primarily oversee the Kid Care program located at the District Education Facility. Kid Care is a program of ROCORI Community Education. This program cares for approximately 30-50 kids a day during the school year Kid Care This position will be hired to work 9:30am - 5:30pm during the school year. The summer /non-school day shift can be flexible. This is a full time, 40 hour a week, year round position on the Class E Contract. This position provides childcare for students at Little Spartans Preschool.

Rate of Pay ranges from $17.90-$22.20 with increases for a 2 and 4 year degree.

Duties/Responsibilities

• GENERAL ADMINISTRATION
• Make daily decisions and plan daily routine and activities.
• Delegate to and directly supervise Child Care Assistants.
• Establish and develop collaborative effort with ROCORI preschool, and K-5 programs.
• Work closely with Child Care Assistants to implement daily routine and activities.
• Act as a liaison and communicate with the Child Care Coordinator regarding staff, program guidelines, procedures, goals, and objectives.
• Makes recommendations on the purchase of supplies and equipment within given budget parameters.
• Direct student contact & parent interactions.
• Implement school district policies and procedures when applicable for programming and staff.
• Other duties as assigned and appropriate for ROCORI’s Child Care programs.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Minimum High School education with childcare experience.
• Preferred 2 year degree or higher.
• 3 Years of childcare experience.
• Have a working knowledge of area resources that support ROCORI students, families, and programs.
• Experience working with children in a large childcare setting.
• Have an understanding of developmentally appropriate activities for children of all ages.
