Description : Position Summary
Environmental Service Attendant Team members are responsible for maintaining all levels of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the Resort. This includes all aspects of cleaning to include bathrooms, game rooms, and all public areas. They may also be required to perform other general cleaning tasks and responsible for reporting on any repair and maintenance issues to upper management. While carrying out the job duties listed below, you will contribute to our continued business success by providing unsurpassed guest service, personal and professional dedication to represent, support, and protect the Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort brand.
Key Accountabilities
Adherence to Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort quality standards, operating systems / procedures & safety regulations / requirements.
Promote a safe and healthy work environment and superior guest experience.
Represent, support, and protect the Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort brand.
Core Responsibilities
Trash Removal : Empty trash cans and dispose of waste in designated disposal areas while ensuring cleanliness and proper waste management protocols.
Floor Care : Sweep, mop, buff, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness and safety. Address spills or hazards immediately to prevent accidents.
Surface Cleaning : Dust, wipe down, and disinfect surfaces such as countertops, furniture, windowsills, and door handles.
Stocking Supplies : Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, soap dispensers, and other necessary items in restrooms and common areas.
Disinfection Protocols : Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols, especially in high-touch and high-traffic areas, to maintain hygiene standards.
Report Maintenance Issues : Identify and report any maintenance issues, such as damaged equipment or broken fixtures, to the appropriate department for timely repairs.
Safety Compliance : Ensure that all cleaning procedures follow safety standards and regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
Customer Service : Provide friendly and professional service to building occupants or visitors when needed, answering questions or addressing concerns about cleanliness.
Special Cleaning Tasks : Perform special cleaning duties as assigned, such as deep cleaning after events, handling spills, or cleaning after construction / renovation work.
Requirements :
Valid Drivers License
Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions.
Works well under pressure and ability to remain professional while doing so
Ability to multi-task and follow up and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Physical Requirements
The team member is required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 10-20 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50lbs on occasion.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time with basic range of motion. (Bending, twisting, reaching, etc.)
Team members must wear all the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties.
