Position: Human Resources Coordinator
Accountable to: Director of HR, HR Manager
Description
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the human resources department at the Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for maintaining personnel records and other administrative tasks as needed - consistent with Rod ‘N’ Reel Resort’s quality standards, operating systems, procedures, and philosophies.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education/experience required.
· Three or more years of Human Resources experience. Experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry a plus.
· Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS system.
· Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
· Experience with Microsoft Office.

Core Responsibilities
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information.
· Able to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and to take initiative on variety of tasks and projects.
· Maintains and files employee personnel data.
· Support the hiring and onboarding process by performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing onboarding paperwork and employment contracts etc.
· Organize and lead company orientation sessions, introducing new team members to company culture, values, and policies. Assist in maintaining the orientation paperwork and presentation.
· Produce and submit reports from HRIS system on general HR activities as requested. Analyze and present data in a readable format
· Ensure new employees are familiar with the workplace environment, safety protocols, and available resources.
· Collaborate with HR manager and finance team to complete bi-weekly payroll.
· Distributes and posts company notices.
· Maintain standards of attendance and punctuality, a warm and friendly demeanor, and must be flexible to work varying schedules that include evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates.
· Support other functions as assigned.
