Job Overview:
The endodontist will provide high-end endodontic services to patients of all ages in one of our state-of-the-art clinics. The days available for an endodontist will depend on the specific region and clinics.
Schedule:
This position is flexible, and the endodontist will be able to practice based on days agreed to in advance with the Chief Dental Officer. Days can range from 1 day a month up to full-time based on geographic region. Daily schedules for endodontists vary based on region and patient demand, but typically take place from 7am to 2pm daily.
Responsibilities
- Perform root canal treatments and other complex procedures used to eliminate dental infections and prevent tooth loss
- Maintain and manage dental health records and necessary documentation for all patients.
- Provide patient education and consultation for dental health prevention and maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with support staff to provide comprehensive dental care services.
Qualifications
- DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Current, valid license to practice dentistry in state where providing care (License must be in good standing) or eligible for licensure.
- Completion of Endodontist residency program and hold the active credentials to practice endodontics in your region.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting and standing as needed.
- Ability to move from operatory to operatory independently.
