Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in motel rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment for our clients. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items as needed to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Provide carpet cleaning services when necessary to uphold the quality of carpets in both residential and commercial settings.
- Assist with custodial duties, including waste disposal and restocking supplies in bathrooms and kitchens.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally.
- Cook meals or prepare snacks as required in residential settings, ensuring dietary preferences are met.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while completing tasks.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
