Job Description:
We are an investment firm seeking a versatile and creative professional with experience in web design, social media management, and public relations. This role requires a dynamic individual who can design and maintain our company websites, manage and grow our social media presence, and support public relations efforts to enhance our brand visibility.
Responsibilities:
Web Design & Maintenance:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly company websites.
- Implement basic programming and custom features as needed (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Optimize websites for SEO, performance, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and ensure proper functionality.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and followers on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others.
- Create, curate, and schedule compelling content, including posts, graphics, and videos.
- Monitor social media analytics and prepare performance reports.
- Stay ahead of trends to ensure our content remains relevant and impactful.
Public Relations & Branding:
- Assist in developing and executing PR strategies to enhance brand reputation and visibility.
- Write and distribute press releases, manage media inquiries, and coordinate interviews or events.
- Build relationships with media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders to promote the brand.
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms and communications.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in web design with a portfolio showcasing past projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic programming required).
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace).
- Demonstrated success managing social media platforms and creating content.
- Experience in public relations or as a publicist, including writing press releases and managing media relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the brand professionally.
- Graphic design experience (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
- Experience with media planning or event coordination.
- Familiarity with social media advertising and analytics tools.
