General Description:

The Industrial Engineering Group is part of the project team and responsible for planning, providing and commissioning all secondary equipment for the manufacturing process.
A high level of liability and operating efficiency is to be achieved and maintained. - Optimize the process and design of secondary equipment and assembly machines to RA Group Standards.
Principal Tasks:
- Supervision, coordination and management of Industrial Engineering Group
- Defining material flow and work cell layout, creating the necessary documentation in flow-charts and layouts (Visio)
- Evaluation of workload, defining cycle times, line balancing and time studies
- Define equipment and create technical specification under consideration of internal and external requirements
- Create, modify and maintain production layout according to specifications and requirements
- Create and ensure industrialization timeline meets customer and RA requirements
- Handing over the manufacturing process and associated equipment to production during a successful run@rate.
- Support internal equipment manufacturing
- Assignment of project team members out of Industrial Engineering Group
- Ensure weekly Status Reporting of Industrialization Projects
- Frequent traveling to plants and suppliers in region
- Regular participation in global workshops
Subsidiary Tasks:
- Create a P-FMEA with the team considering the Process Flow Chart, Design-FMEA, specifications, and the Lessons Learned from previous projects.
- Create work instructions to RA standards and provide Training
- Updating and maintaining schematics for infrastructure
- Providing technical input, workflows, cycle time studies and investment for cost estimators
- Create and Incorporate Lessons Learned from previous Projects
Knowledge and Skills:
- Creating technical documents
- Leadership for Technical Staff
- ISO 14001 and TS16949 familiarity,
- costing, controlling assets and maintain within budget restraints
- Secondary production processes, as assembly, leak testing, welding etc. of injection molded parts
Work experience requirements:
- Several years of work experience in related fields especially in the automotive industry. Especially experience in process planning of assembly lines.
Automotive experience is preferred.
Education Requirements:
- B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
