Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both residential and commercial spaces.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Conduct industrial cleaning duties as needed to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Execute floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Assist with custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall upkeep of the facility.
Skills
- Strong ability to maintain cleanliness in various environments, including residential and commercial spaces.
- Experience in custodial work or porter services is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and equipment.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and waxing.
